Not content with just TV ads and billboards, Samsung has unveiled a musical short film highlighting virtually every feature of its latest flagship smartphone, the Galaxy S4.
Dubbed ‘Hi Hey Hello’ and featuring a song of the same name by The Chicharones, the musical tells “a modern love story” of a love-struck young man trying to win the heart of a girl from his college with a little help from the Galaxy S4.
Directed by Joseph Kahn, the musical includes cameos from the Galaxy S4’s numerous software features, including Smart Scroll, Smart Pause, Air View and Group Play, along with some impressive choreography performed by a large cast of hipsters (or at least actors dressed as such).
Despite the cheesy premise, we really liked the film. It’s well thought out and does a fantastic job at showcasing what makes the Galaxy S4 the most in-demand handset currently on the market.
The film is part of Samsung’s seven-week marketing campaign to promote the launch of the Galaxy S4 to build on the tremendous success of the Galaxy S3. Well, with news that the S4 has raced to a whopping 10 million sales in its first month on shop shelves, it appears the S-giant has done it again.
Of course, the Galaxy S4 is not all about the software, it also packs some of the best specs in a smartphone too, namely a five-inch full HD Super AMOLED display, a 1.9GHz quad-core processor and a 13-megapixel camera.
