Not all bad credit loans are good for you. There are certain short term bad credit loans which will do a lot of harm for you when you are already reeling in debt. It is better to stay away from such loans to reduce your burden. Some of the bad credit loans to stay away from are -

Payday Loans

You can secure a payday loan as long as you have some sort of an income. You only have to show a proof of this to obtain a loan. Small time lenders will then be able to give you small loans with an interest rate. In most cases, the payback time of this is two weeks. In the case that you have borrowed $500, then you will owe them $575 in two weeks. If you are earning only $750, then you will be left with just $175 to take care of you and your family's expenses. You will have to fend for yourself with this till you get your next salary which might prove to be quite a difficult position. More than providing a temporary solution this short term bad credit loan becomes a burden.

Auto Title Loans

Most credit card debt negotiators and other financial experts will tell you that this is one of the worst bad credit loans available for debtors today. This involves very high cost loans which are usually for a short period of time. In the case that you have defaulted a payment then you end losing the title of the vehicle with the money you paid till then. The lender takes repossession of the vehicle after this.

Business Intelligence (BI) is a set of tools and techniques that process raw data into meaningful information and useful statistics for analytical purposes, that can help achieve greater and more beneficial results.

If we are to really understand the term 'business intelligence', perhaps this little piece from history will help. The term was originally put together by Richard Miller Devens in 1865 in his reference to Sri Henry Furnese, the prominent government financier in England between the years 1705 and 1710. Describing Furnese's business acumen and his accurate reading of monetary situations, Devens wrote that "he maintained a complete and perfect train of business intelligence". Here he was, of course, referring to the ability of Furnese to collect information, correlate the information and react accurately based on the information retrieved and collated. This is the essence of true "Business Intelligence".

In today's highly advanced and competitive business driven outlook, BI allows easy handling and interpretation of unstructured data or input of large amounts of information to help identify, create and develop strategic and long-term business opportunities while at the same plugging loopholes and strengthening systems. For commercial businesses world over, this is the key to implementing effective strategies based on the insights provided to gain competitive advantages in the market and gain long-standing stability.

The roles and expectations of professors at universities and colleges are nearly tied to the central function of advanced education. One of the initial formal descriptions of these central functions was incorporated in the 1915 "Declaration of Principles" defined by a representative council of the American Association of University Professors.

This declaration clearly defines that the functions of universities and colleges include:

• To propel the sum of human knowledge and to promote request
• To create experts for diverse branches of the public service
• To give general guidelines to the students

Accordingly, the professors at universities and colleges undertake teaching, research and service roles to achieve the academic work of their respective colleges.

Generally the expectations and roles of a college professor are neither straightforward nor simple. A professor is recognized differently by the institute administration and by the students. Yet to become a successful professor, you must be capable to fascinate both groups. At times, this can be a frightening task.

The role of a professor is simple for students- just to be an educator and instructor. This position demands that they must have complete knowledge about the subject they are going to teach and should be able to present knowledge in an interesting and cohesive manner. From a good educator, there is a clear expectation of themselves availing to their students and learners. If a student needs explanation of an important point and in case if it is not understood, the learning process at that time will virtually stop.

Professors must provide assignments and exams that are related to the study material and that all assignments are sorted fairly, accurately and impartially. A professor acts as a mentor and a guide to the students. We can say that the successful future of students or learners is partially dependent on the professor's way of teaching. This is really a wonderful responsibility.

However, institute administrators consider professors from a completely another perspective. Because the process of education is desirable, it is not of predominant importance. They believe- the most important is that the professors must fulfill their contractual obligations to the institute. Although satisfaction of students is of concern to the administration but still it is not of utmost matter of concern. For them, academic standards are more important. And in the search of academic excellence, few students will fail and few will do poorly.

As a professor, the primary duty will be for students. But that doesn't mean that we lose sight of the fact that the administration is paying. That's why our initial loyalty must remain with our university or employer.

Apply to your schools of choice as early as possible and make sure that all of your supporting documents are sent from the guidance office in a timely fashion. With this in mind, you should work closely with your guidance counselor/adviser as much as possible in the fall of your senior. There are many things that you will need to do in the first semester of your senior year from putting the final touches on your college essays to applying for financial aid. You should create a to-do-list for the first semester to keep you on task and to avoid any oversight.

The importance of the first semester of your senior year: Things that needs to happen at this crucial time

In the early fall of the senior year, you need to sit with your guidance counselor to finalize your list of schools that you will be applying to. You need to discuss with your guidance counselor/adviser the tests that you have taken and the tests that you will need to take. Hopefully, you have taken the SAT/ACT at least once in the spring of junior year. For some of you, you should have taken the SAT II (old achievement test) in the spring of your junior year also. Also, you should discuss the application procedures and go over letters of recommendation from your teachers and your guidance counselor in late September and early October.

You need to discuss the types of applications such as early action, early decision and rolling admission application. Most selective colleges and universities have their regular deadlines either January 1st or January 15th. You have to meet all of your deadlines for college applications, financial aid and scholarships.

It is extremely important that you stay on top of all of your financial aid applications and their deadlines. Keep in mind that you may get in to many colleges and universities but where you will attend school next year will depend on what you and your family can afford. Financial aid may be the most important piece in the college admissions process.

The decisions that you will make in the second semester of the senior year: Conquering college admissions

Gold prices on January 1 fell by Rs 100 to Rs 27,100 per ten grams on the first trading day of 2015 in the national capital owing to slackened demand from jewellers amid a weak global trend.

Silver prices also fell by Rs 800 to Rs 36,200 per kg due to fall in demand from jewellers and industrial units. Traders said easing demand from jewellers and retailers at prevailing levels and a weak global trend reduced the appeal for bullion as an alternative asset.

Gold in New York, which normally sets price trend on the domestic front, fell by 1.4 per cent to USD 1,184.10 an ounce and silver by 4.2 per cent to USD 15.59 an ounce yesterday. In Delhi, gold of 99.9 and 99.5 per cent purity fell by Rs 100 each to Rs 27,100 and Rs 26,900 per ten gram respectively.

Sovereign, however, traded at last level of Rs 23,700 per piece of eight gram in limited deals. In line with a general weak trend, silver ready dropped by Rs 800 to Rs 36,200 per kg and weekly-based delivery by Rs 980 to Rs 36,170 per kg. Silver coins also plunged by Rs 1,000 to Rs 59,000 for buying and Rs 60,000 for selling of 100 pieces.

Meanwhile, gold prices dropped by Rs 2,660, or nearly 10 per cent, to Rs 27,200 per ten grams during 2013 as the government tried to divert investors away from this 'unproductive asset' and a weak trend overseas. The year was even worse for silver that recorded a fall about 15 per cent in its price to Rs 37,000 per kg from 43,755.

The gold edition of the Galaxy S5 will be available on other networks apart from Vodafone, after it emerged that a deal that gave the carrier exclusive rights to sell the gold model is strictly time-limited.

It had initially been thought that Voda had secured indefinite rights to sell what’s tipped to the most in-demand colourway of Samsung’s 2014 flagship smartphone.

However, since then O2 has listed the gold model for sale on its site, exploding that idea.

To clear things up, we’ve asked around and checked Voda’s forums and have since established that in fact the network’s exclusivity period lasts for 28 days from launch.

We also got in touch with O2's press people, who confirmed that while the gold edition won't be available on its network from day one, it will be accepting pre-orders for that colourway soon.

But in the interests of staying within the strictures of Voda’s arrangement with Samsung, O2 won’t be able to launch pre-orders for said handset until May 9th. That’s four weeks after the phone officially hits retail on April 11th.

If you want the blue, black or white edition, you can pre-order it on O2 from March 28th. That’s the same date it goes on pre-order on Vodafone in all those colourways, plus the gold edition.

EE smartphone owners will soon benefit from average 4G connection speeds of 20Mb in ten cities across the UK, the carrier has announced, doubling the previous speed the network claimed to deliver.

EE has confirmed it is doubling the amount of 1800MHz spectrum bandwidth dedicated to 4G from 10MHz to 20MHz. The move will increase capacity and provide customers with headline speeds of up to 80Mb, up from 40Mb previously.

The ten cities where the supercharged service will be available this summer are Birmingham, Bristol, Cardiff, Edinburgh, Glasgow, Leeds, Liverpool, London, Manchester and Sheffield, with plans to extend its reach at a later date.

Olaf Swantee, EE Chief Executive, said: "We are ensuring that the UK remains at the forefront of the digital revolution.

“Having already pioneered 4G here, we're now advancing the country's infrastructure again."

Existing EE customers in locations where the speed is being doubled will pay no extra for the faster connections.

According to the UK’s sole 4G operator, 25 per cent of customers are signing up for 4G. The company is targeting 4G subscriber numbers of one million by Christmas.
