Samsung has inadvertently all-but confirmed the existence of a slimmed down version of the Galaxy S4, ahead of a press event next month that is expected to mark the phone’s official debut.A thumbnail image of the as-yet-unannounced handset surfaced in an official app catalogue which was picked up on Redmond Pie while browsing Samsung’s content and services page.
Specs and details about the handset are entirely absent from the site, however. But the image at least appears to rubber-stamp reports that the handset will differ little from the standard-sized Samsung Galaxy S4 in the looks department.
The handset is also expected to rumoured to feature a 4.3-inch Super AMOLED screen – down from the standard edition's five-inch model – and pack an Exynos 1.6GHz dual-core processor, compared with the full-size Galaxy S4's brawnier quad-core model.
The S4 Mini is likely to make its debut at a press call in London on June 20th, alongside Samsung’s latest Windows Phone Ativ kits and possibly the similarly unconfirmed camera-focussed variant on the Galaxy S4.
